Amnesty International, co-founded by a Quaker in 1962, holds its Lincolnshire monthly meetings in Lincoln.

Amnesty International is the world’s largest grassroots human rights organisation with a global movement of over seven million people and says of its mission:

“We investigate and expose abuses, educate and mobilise the public, and help transform societies to create a safer, more just world.”
